I started “The Every Other Day Diet” by Dr. Krista Varady in July 2017. It’s the original book about intermittent fasting backed by lots o’ science, and I’m hoping this is the one diet…TO RULE THEM ALL.
Or at least help me consistently lose weight without driving me crazy.
Thing is about this whole “fasting” business…it’s probably not what you think it is. Are you thinking I’m abstaining from all food for 24 hours or more? If you are, then you are WRONG my friend.
I have diet days and free days, and on my diet days I still eat one meal that’s around 500 calories. The free days I can eat whenever and whatever I want- yes, even craptastic food that you would think should be off limits.
I was on hiatus for a while, but now I’m back baby.
